Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Don Don (ranked 5904 p4p, 0 weight class) and Daniel Sazykin (ranked 5959 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Daniel Sazykin!
The judges for this bout are Winston Alpacca, Bart Greer and Daniel Franklin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Don tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Sazykin follows through with a counter body kick but it doesn't land.
Sazykin throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Don seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter.
Don really is a fat lump.

Sazykin moves into the clinch successfully.

Sazykin gets a trip takedown into half guard.

Sazykin looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Sazykin in particular looking to stall.
Don looks like he's trying to stand up.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Sazykin is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Sazykin connects with a nice short shot to Don's temple.

You know, I was talking to some of our celebrities at ringside tonight and they were split right down the middle on who was going to win this fight.

Sazykin has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Don has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!

Don manages to wriggle out and sneak his way back up to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched up against the cage.
Sazykin prevents the takedown attempt.

Don tries to clinch up but Sazykin circles away and keeps his distance.

Sazykin manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Don on his heels. He'll look to pass Don's guard now, I'm sure.
Don wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Sazykin manages to pass to side control.
Don is breathing heavily.
Sazykin passes the guard and advances to mount!

Sazykin fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Don to the ground. Sazykin is now in Don's guard.
Sazykin controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
Sazykin works a leg free and moves into half guard.
Sazykin uses his free foot to push down on Don's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Don.

Don tries to close the distance and clinch but Sazykin swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

The referee is keeping an eye on Sazykin - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Sazykin turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Sazykin manages to end up in side control.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

The fight stays on the outside here - Don looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Sazykin swats away the attempt to clinch by Don.
Sazykin shapes to counter with a head kick.
Don tries to clinch there but Sazykin circles away.
Sazykin feints the counter takedown.

Don fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Sazykin, pushing him back against the cage.

Sazykin stops a takedown attempt from Don.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Don jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Sazykin walks away with a smile on his face. Don gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Don moves in looking to clinch but Sazykin pushes him off.

Sazykin closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Don quickly recovers to half guard.

Don has managed to escape just enough to sneak back to his feet but Sazykin is on him like a limpet, forcing Don back against the cage.

Well Sazykin has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
