Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Tiny Johnson and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Balkarti moves out of range of the strikes.
An attempted straight right counter from Balkarti misses the target.
Cooper takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Cooper cracks Balkarti with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
It looks like Gus Balkarti has been cut.
Balkarti throws a shot from downtown. Cooper moves away and avoids it.
Cooper drops his hands momentarily and Balkarti takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Cooper scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Cooper throws a big shot that misses.
Cooper on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Balkarti rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Cooper counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Balkarti lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Cooper bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Balkarti throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Balkarti swings away with a body shot that misses
and Cooper counters with a big right hand! Oh Balkarti is in trouble here! Cooper follows up with more strikes and that's it! The ref has stopped it!
