Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jeffy Domer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mirko Cro Cop (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Jeffy Domer!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Mirko Cro Cop!
The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Shimada, Hirohito Nitta and Taro Takaoka.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Domer gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.

Domer lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.

Domer looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.

Cro Cop throws a sloppy strike from the bottom. He's now off balance and Domer manages to pass to side control.
Cro Cop misses with a strike from the bottom.
Cro Cop tries to strike but it doesn't land.

Cro Cop tries to get back to half guard but can't.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Domer tries to move to mount but Cro Cop blocks the move with his legs.
Domer avoids the strikes from the bottom by Cro Cop.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Domer wants to clinch up but Cro Cop keeps it at a distance.

Domer decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.

Domer stands up and beckons Cro Cop to join him on the feet.

and Domer counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.

Domer is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Domer scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Domer not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Domer is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Cro Cop is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.

Domer closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Both fighters working to control the clinch.

Domer has Cro Cop pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Domer pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Cro Cop tumbling to the mat - Domer dives into Cro Cop's guard.

Domer stands and steps away. Cro Cop gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
