Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Stevie Rico (ranked 23251 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tusing Pocc (ranked 3536 p4p, 0 weight class). The key to victory for Stevie Rico has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Stevie Rico!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

12 - 15 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Tusing Pocc!
The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Shimada, Sosuke Kotani and Yuuki Gou.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pocc fails with a takedown attempt.
Rico lands a head shot.
Rico connects with an inside leg kick.
Pocc dives in for a single leg takedown but Rico sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Rico dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Rico throws a head kick that half lands.
Pocc looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Rico is fending him off so far but Pocc persists. Nope, Rico circles away and we're back to standing.
Stevie Rico has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Tusing Pocc.
Pocc shoots in but no luck this time.
Pocc has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Rico fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Pocc shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Rico manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Pocc drops back looking for a leg! Rico is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Rico manages to kick Pocc off! Pocc jumps back into Rico's guard.

Rico has momentary wrist control but Pocc slips an elbow through the middle.

Rico has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Pocc is working away from the top position though.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Pocc is trying to work for a kimura but Rico is defending well.

Rico is rocked!
Pocc perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
Oh Rico is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Pocc is trying to control the action in half guard but Rico is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
Rico seems to have got his legs back now.

Rico is looking for a sweep. Pocc is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Rico on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Rico tries to get out of the position.
Rico on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound.

Pocc is keen to just control but Rico is a slippery customer.
Pocc has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Pocc is nestled in close to Rico, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
Rico wants to improve his position but Pocc is controlling well.
Pocc is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.
Pocc lands a big elbow from half guard. That looks like it's hurt Rico quite badly. Rico pulls Pocc in close trying to recover. Pocc postures up and lands two really hard shots that put Rico on queer street! The ref takes a look and decides to call an end to the fight! Possibly an early stoppage but Rico doesn't seem to be complaining too much.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:40 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Tusing Pocc!
A relieved looking Tusing Pocc thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
