Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Sean OConnor (ranked 6244 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tre Fiddie (ranked 6404 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters really staring each other down here, as Tre Fiddie enters the cage!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Sean OConnor!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Tre Fiddie!
The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Gregory Folan and Dillan Fox.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fiddie displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination.
Fiddie tests OConnor's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Fiddie goes for a double leg but OConnor avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as OConnor continues to drive forward.

and OConnor counters with a three punch combo that has Fiddie backing up. Fiddie nods at OConnor to acknowledge the strikes.
Fiddie pulls out of a head kick attempt.
OConnor defending well as Fiddie loads up on a big left hand.
OConnor tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Fiddie manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Fiddie misses with a jab, cross combination.
Fiddie tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target.
It looked like OConnor wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
Fiddie shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. OConnor defends it nicely.

OConnor has Fiddie pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. OConnor pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Fiddie tumbling to the mat - OConnor dives into Fiddie's guard.

OConnor thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

OConnor feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
