The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Santos just misses with a punch to the body.
Ilves shoots in but Santos avoids the takedown attempt easily.

Santos gets the takedown into side control.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Ilves manages to work his way to half guard, despite Santos's best efforts.

Ilves is looking to sinch up a gullotine here but Santos pulls his head out easily.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Santos connects with a nice short shot to Ilves's temple.
