The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Berry throws an off balance right hand
and Samuals counters with a good low kick that Berry was not able to check.
Berry thows a left - swing and a miss!
Samuals tried to counter with a leg kick but Berry avoided it.
Berry has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight.
Berry throws a body punch but Samuals moves out of range.
A head kick by Berry misses
and Samuals counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Berry misses with a hook to the body
and Samuals counters with a left to the body.
A slapping leg kick lands for Samuals.
Samuals throws a head kick but Berry moves out of range.
A looping hook to the body misses from Berry. Samuals does a little dance to reset his feet.
Berry just manages to avoid a counter high kick fromSamuals.
Liam Berry seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Berry takes one to the chin there.
Samuals comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Samuals with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.

Samuals scores with a jab. Berry acknowledges it with a nod of the head.

Samuals uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Berry swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Samuals cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

Samuals moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Berry loads up on a big right hand but Samuals slips the punch.
We've been told by Samuals's head coaches at Nuclear Physiques that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Samuals stalks Berry and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Berry's face. Berry staggers backwards, shaken.
Berry fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Samuals avoids a kick to the body.

Berry tries to clinch up.
Berry throws a body punch but Samuals moves out of range.

Samuals lands with an uppercut that bounces Berry off the cage and back into range.

Samuals lands a big right hand that sends Berry crashing to the mat! Samuals stays standing though and waves Berry back to his feet!
Berry is still on wobbly legs! Can Samuals finish him?

and Samuals counters with an inside leg kick.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Samuals throws a leg kick which misses Berry's front leg but catches the back leg as Berry tries to avoid it.
Samuals throws an uppercut from hell that sends Berry clean off his feet! He's out cold! Samuals stands back and admires his work as he thinks about that KO of the night award that is surely being wrapped up for him back stage.
