PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Matt Gammer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chino Moreno (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Moreno has chosen Xerces as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Chino Moreno is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The judges for this bout are Chris Edwards, Colin Fotheringham and Sam Margolis.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Moreno tries to clinch up but Gammer circles away and keeps his distance.

Moreno clinches with his opponent.
Moreno goes for a takedown attempt but Gammer pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.

Gammer shoots in for a takedown and gets it.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Gammer wants to free his trapped foot but Moreno is holding on for dear life with his legs.

Moreno changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Gammer looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Moreno has control of Gammer's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Gammer regains control of the situation pretty easily.

Chino Moreno showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Gammer isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Moreno stacks Gammer on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Moreno!

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Moreno pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.

Moreno gets to his feet and calls his opponent to stand. Here come the fireworks!

Chino Moreno comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Moreno has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
