Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Tom Kruiz (ranked 3468 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tama Tonga (ranked 24891 p4p, 0 weight class). Kruiz comes into the arena with ZARILA KANDZE blaring out of the sound system. Tonga comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Lockjaw kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Both fighters really staring each other down here, as Tama Tonga enters the cage!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tonga shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Kruiz as he jumps to the side.
Tonga fails to land the takedown.
Kruiz changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit.
A punch lands to the side of Tonga 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Kruiz smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Tonga shoots and misses
and Kruiz counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Tonga thinking.
Tom Kruiz has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Tama Tonga .
Kruiz stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Kruiz wants it to stay on the feet.

and Kruiz counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Tonga shoots in looking for a takedown but Kruiz manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Tonga 's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Tonga takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Kruiz swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Tonga .
Kruiz scores with a punch to the head.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Kruiz's jab looks to have found its range, popping Tonga under the eye.
Kruiz fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Tonga looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Tonga looks to score with a jab to the body but Kruiz is just out of range.
Kruiz lands with a hook. Tonga tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
No luck for Tonga with that takedown attempt.

Kruiz connects with a jab.
Tonga throws a series of punches but Kruiz moves out of range.
Tonga looks winded!
Jab, jab by Kruiz - just one landing.
Tonga drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Tonga closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Kruiz is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all.
Tonga changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Kruiz tries to avoid it but Tonga manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Kruiz to the ground. Kruiz escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Kruiz connects with the punch.
Tonga walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Tonga shoots in but doesn't get the takedown

and Kruiz counters with a shoot takedown. Tonga fights it but they end up in guard.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Kruiz stays in close to Tonga 's body and controls the position.

Tonga is rocked!
Kruiz postures up and lands a big shot to Tonga 's brow.
Tonga is still in real trouble! Can Kruiz finish him?

Kruiz is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Kruiz slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
Tonga seems to have recovered his senses.

Kruiz has hold of Tonga 's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Tonga seems comfortable defending it but Kruiz has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Tonga is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Tonga is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Kruiz couldn't care less - he's delighted!

Tom Kruiz bigged himself up after the win. The crowd seemed to love it.
Tama Tonga spoke after the fight, saying 'Bruhhhhhh'.
