The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Amber misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.

Amber shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.

Amber looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Vargas is fending him off so far but Amber persists. Nope, Vargas circles away and we're back to standing.
Vargas scores with a jab to the head.
Amber closes the distance and clinches up with Vargas, looking for a takedown. Amber pushes Vargas against the cage but Vargas circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Amber shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Vargas as he avoids it easily.
Vargas cracks Amber with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.

It looks like Otis Amber has been cut.
Vargas drops Amber with a beautiful combination! Amber stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Vargas is looking for the KO!

Amber is rocked!
Amber is breathing heavily.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Vargas closes the distance and lands a crisp combination that knocks Amber out cold! Amber corner are devastated, head in hands behind our commentary position. Poor guys.
