The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chartier fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Cooke sprawls well initially but Chartier persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Chartier thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
