Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Pete Green!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Johnny Johnson!
The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Gwen Towbar and George Francis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Johnson lands a head kick that stumbles Green and the fighters go to the mat.


Green is rocked!


It looks like Pete Green has been cut.
Green looking for a sweep. Not yet Green, not yet.
Oh Green is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!

Johnson avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Johnson passes into half guard.
Johnson thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Green's head.

Green is defending against the submission attempts here by Johnson.
Green seems to have got his legs back now.
Green wants to get back to full guard.
Green is doing well to control the position and prevent Johnson from advancing to side control.
Johnson is looking to take a break and control but Green is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Green is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Johnson's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Johnson's back!

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Green tries to score a body lock takedown but Johnson shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
Johnson wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Green has him pressed against the cage.

Green tightens his grip and picks Johnson up, before dumping him to the ground. Johnson manages to land in guard.
Green connects with a couple of short punches.

Johnson is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Green's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
Johnson manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Green is desperately trying to improve his position but Johnson has a good base and remains in mount.
Green on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Green tries to get out of the position.
Johnson thowing strikes but they're hitting the gloves, not doing any damage.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Green tries to lock up and control but Johnson gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Green is squirming around, avoiding Johnson's attempts to control the action.

Green keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Johnson's head.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!


Johnson closes the distance looking to clinch

and Green moves into the clinch.

Johnson escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Johnson tries to clinch but Green is having none of it.
Green keeps the fight on the outside.
Horrible takedown by Green or perhaps it was just good defense by Johnson which made him look bad.
Johnson fails in his attempt to clinch.
Johnson works over Green's head and body with a nice combination.
Green throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Johnson counters with a big head kick but Green shrugs it off.
Johnson shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Green pinned against the cage. Green gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Green stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Johnson.
Johnson lands with a jab that stuns his opponent. Green is looking to close the distance but Johnson sees it coming and throws a beautiful knee! Green crumbles to the mat and that's all she wrote! Let's hope Green is OK because that was naaaaaasty!
