Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Alphonso Crane (ranked 25155 p4p, 0 weight class) and Timmy Hue (ranked 6222 p4p, 633 weight class). The fight MMA fans around the world have waited their entire lives for!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Alphonso Crane!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Timmy Hue!
The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Chris Downing and Alan Glass.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hue throws a sloppy head kick and Crane moves out of range easily.
Crane shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Hue but Hue pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Hue stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Hue wants it to stay on the feet.
Hue moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Horrible takedown attempt by Crane or perhaps it was just good defense by Hue, which made it look bad.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Alphonso Crane. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Crane fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Nice takedown defense from Crane. No joy for Hue on that attempt.
Crane keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.

Hue throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Crane seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance.

Crane shoots in for a double leg but Hue sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Hue moves into the clinch successfully.
Crane blocks the elbow strike.
Crane wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
A bit of stalling here from Hue.
Crane misses with a hook to the ribs.
Crane tries to work over Hue's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.

Crane tries a knee to the head but he's missed.
Hue misses with a punch on the inside.
Crane is trying to break the clinch but Hue is controlling him.
Hue tries for a takedown but Crane manages to get underhooks.
Crane really is a fat lump.
Crane doesn't land with the attempted body shot.

Crane breaks from the clinch.

Hue scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
Hue just content to control the position.
Crane tries to buck Hue off but Hue is having none of it.
What's Crane going to do here then? He's in a bit of a pickle.

The referee tells the fighters to keep busy.
Hue trying to control the action but Crane is working from the bottom.
Hue tries to move to mount but Crane blocks the move with his legs.
Crane is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.
Crane is looking to control Hue's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Crane avoid being mounted?

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Crane wants to get back to his feet.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Crane trying to hold on to Hue's head to control him but Hue postures up.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Crane will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Hue changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt.
Crane is breathing heavily.

Hue drives through with a takedown into Crane's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.
Hue not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
Hue trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Crane lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Timmy Hue dominated that round.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.


Crane dives in for a single leg takedown but Hue sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.

Crane dives in and scores a takedown into Hue's guard.
Crane might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Crane stands and steps away. Hue gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.

Crane stands up and beckons Hue to his feet.
Timmy Hue seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Hue throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Crane gets caught napping as Hue dives in and scores a takedown. Crane manages to retain guard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Hue trying to control the position from guard on top but Crane is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Hue scoring with punches to the head and body.
Alphonso Crane overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Crane wants to get back to his feet but Hue is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Hue pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Crane is keeping the position for now.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Hue with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.
Hue not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Crane looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Hue has picked Crane up and slammed him! Crane can't keep hold of the triangle and Hue manages to pass to side control!
Hue scores with a couple of short elbows.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.
Crane tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Hue wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Crane takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better.

Hue thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Hue fails to land a wild elbow strike.
Crane tries to bench press Hue off him but Hue keeps the position.
Hue really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Crane. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
You can see the frustration on Crane's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Hue creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots.

Crane sneaks back into half guard.
Hue working the head and body with strikes.

Hue escapes and gets back to his feet.
Crane tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Hue defends well and Crane ends up having to push Hue into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.

Hue is clearly stalling here... Pick up the pace son.
Hue is trying to drag Crane to the mat but Crane just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

Hue has clasped his hands together around Crane's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done.

Timmy Hue showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Hue fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Crane, pushing him back against the cage.
An uppercut to the body lands inside from Crane.

Crane pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Hue has Crane up against the cage in a clinch.
Crane throws a punch but it's blocked by Hue.

Crane breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Crane.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Crane on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Hue. Hue obviously looking to wear him down.

Crane shoots in looking for a takedown but Hue manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Crane's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Crane shoots in for a double leg but Hue sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Hue fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Crane to the ground. Hue is now in Crane's guard.

Crane has managed to wall walk up one of the corner posts to get back to his feet. Hue is pushing him up against the cage, looking to control the position.
Hue is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
Crane prevents a takedown attempt there.
Hue misses with a body punch.
Crane throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Hue blocks it with crossed arms.

Crane breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Hue lands a high kick!

This has been an exciting period of action!
Crane tries for a takedown but Hue sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Crane shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Hue sprawls well. Hue wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Crane gets slowly back to his feet.
Hue misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.

Crane clinches up against the cage.
Crane prevents a takedown attempt there.
Hue has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Hue tries to score a body lock takedown but Crane shows good agility there to stay on his feet.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Hue is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Crane is defending well.
Hue on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
Hue is trying to force a seperation but Crane has the dominant position.
Hue tries for a takedown. No joy.
Crane misses with a body punch.
The referee calls for Crane to work.
Hue is trying to pull guard but Crane turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Crane lands with a short head shot on the inside.
Alphonso Crane has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Timmy Hue is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.
Crane lands a good knee to the midsection. Hue won't want to take too many of those.

And that's the end of the fight!
Alphonso Crane showed his dominance in that final round.
I think Hue has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
