The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Money pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Smasher Money seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Money shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Money was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Tree is wriggling around trying to escape.
Money blocks Tree's feeble attempts to strike from the bottom.
Money knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Tree on the ground.

Money thuds his fist into the canvas! Oooouch!

Money is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Tree can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
Money tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.

The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
Money keeping moving, preventing Tree from controlling successfully.

Tree gets to his feet. Money looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!

Money closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

Money tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Money has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Tree managing to avoid any damage from the strikes thrown by Money .
Tree sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard.

Tree makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Tree.
Tree wants to get back to his feet but Money is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.

Tree is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Money tries to roll over but Tree keeps him under control.

The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.
