Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Auron Kruger (ranked 6999 p4p, 638 weight class) and Jordan Portis (ranked 6348 p4p, 617 weight class). Kruger comes to the ring accompanied by Kennedy - Karate. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jordan Portis!
The judges for this bout are Yasuomi Hirokawa, Tatsuya Matsuyama and Shirou Masuda.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kruger darts in looking for a takedown but Portis gets double underhooks and turns Kruger into the ropes.
Kruger avoids a punch combination nicely.

Kruger shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Kruger was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Kruger postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Portis is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Kruger, into his guard.

Portis has his feet on Kruger's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work.
Kruger shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Portis but Portis pushes him off and we're back to square one.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Portis isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Kruger stacks Portis on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Kruger!
Portis really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Kruger. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

A close round but Jordan Portis will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!

Oh Kruger is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Well Portis has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
