Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, John Cena!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jig Saw!
The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Cecil Peabody and Daniel Franklin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Saw shoots in looking for a takedown. Cena tries to sprawl out of it but Saw keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Cena manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Cena half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range.
Cena fails with the takedown.

Saw has managed to clinch.
A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors.
Saw prevents a takedown attempt there.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for John Cena. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Saw is pressed up against the cage. Cena has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Saw down to the mat. Saw avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Saw is trying hard to land a takedown here. Cena sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.

A frustrated look appears on Saw's face as he tries to break the clinch.

Saw trying to control the position but instead, Cena has worked for underhooks and has pushed Saw into the cage.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Cena manages to break the clinch.
Saw fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Cena moves out of range as Saw throws a body kick.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Cena.

Cena moves into range and clinches up with Saw.

Saw is looking for a takedown.
Cena wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Saw has him pressed against the cage.
Saw is trying to force a seperation but Cena has the dominant position.

Cena pulls Saw into guard.
Cena wants to hit a switch here but Saw passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Cena there!

Saw throwing shots but Cena is blocking nicely.
Saw stops Cena from getting back to his feet.

Saw got a little sloppy there for a moment and Cena has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Saw has managed to get both his arms back between Cena's legs - danger averted.

Cena is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Saw has managed to free his arm - good work.

Saw is trying to maintain the position but Cena is very close to passing his half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Cena frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Cena avoids the attempt from Saw to control.

Cena swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Saw is now in Cena's guard. A big mistake from Cena there, giving up the dominant position!

Cena has control of Saw's left arm, preventing Saw from doing any damage.
Saw looking to sit in guard and control but Cena gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Saw wants to stand and escape but Cena is having none of it.

Cena takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!


Cena will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Cena blocks a low kick nicely.

Cena shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Saw as he jumps to the side.
Saw swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Saw closes the distance and clinches up with Cena, looking for a takedown. Saw pushes Cena against the cage but Cena circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
No luck for Saw with that takedown attempt.

Cena working for a triangle but Saw defends it easily.
Cena lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.

Saw preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Saw is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Cena passes Saw's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
Cena wants to pass the guard but Saw is defending well.
Cena is taking a breather. Saw says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
Saw tries to kick Cena off in order to stand up. Cena Avoids the leg push though and dives into side control.
John Cena overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Saw is looking to reverse the position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Saw takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

Cena advances nicely into full mount.
Cena is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Saw can do to turn this around?

Cena looking to ground and pound but Saw is blocking nicely.
Saw manages to regain half guard. Good work.

Cena shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.

Cena moves into range and clinches up with Saw.
Saw throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Cena blocks it with crossed arms.

Cena ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Cena no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.

Cena is looking for a triangle but Saw pushes his legs off easily.
Saw wants to get up but he can't break Cena's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

Cena is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.


Cena wants to work for an arm triangle but Saw is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

John Cena showed his dominance in that final round.
I think Cena has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
