The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fiddie connects with the punch.
Fiddie clinches with his opponent.
Fiddie lands a left hand that snaps the head of Richards backwards.
Richards pulls guard.
Fiddie is working Richards over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
Fiddie is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
Fiddie drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Richards manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Fiddie has Richards in his guard.

Fiddie is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a triangle but Richards frees his head nicely. Oh but Fiddie has switched to an armbar! Richards is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
