Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 1, fighting out of Sydney, Stanford Mccoy!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Alex Coates!
The judges for this bout are Hugh Johnson, Topper Green and Ben Hemmingworth.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mccoy dives in for a single leg takedown but Coates sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Coates is looking for the big counter here.
Coates misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Mccoy dodges the punch combination from Coates.
Mccoy tries to score with a low kick but Coates moves his leg out of the way.
Mccoy lands with a kick to the temple. Coates shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"

Mccoy pushes Coates up against the cage in a clinch.
Coates lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.
Mccoy can't get the takedown.

Mccoy pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Coates throws a head kick that misses.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Coates rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Mccoy counters with a lovely straight right hand!

Coates lands a left and a right that send Mccoy crashing to the mat, dazed. Coates thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

Mccoy is rocked!

It looks like Stanford Mccoy has been cut.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Coates misses with a head kick.
Oh Mccoy is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Coates lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.
Mccoy is breathing heavily.
Mccoy drops his hands for a split second and Coates immediately capitalizes on the opportunity by smashing a powerful hook into Mccoy face, sending his mouthguard sailing through the air, much to the delight of the crowd. Coates follows up with a right hand that knocks Mccoy into next week. He's out cold and this fight is over!
