The judges for this bout are Santiago Holmes, Dirk Anderson and David Hoff.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dion displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Henderson .

Dion uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Henderson .
Dion changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit.

Dion had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Henderson defends it easily.
Henderson is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

Henderson got a little sloppy there for a moment and Dion has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Henderson has managed to get both his arms back between Dion's legs - danger averted.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.

That was a close round but I would say that Amari Dion will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
