And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Rebel Son!
The judges for this bout are Sandra Marshall, Daniel Franklin and Peter Branson.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Moore shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Son's guard.

Moore trying to control but Son is working from the bottom.
Son has a closed guard, preventing Moore from standing up.

Son had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Moore defends it easily.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Son working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Moore doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Moore manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Moore is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound.

Moore stands and throws Son's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Son is looking to regain half guard here but Moore keeps moving and retains side control.
Moore is looking to take a break and control but Son is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Moore wants to stand but Son has his arm trapped.
Son is looking to regain half guard here but Moore keeps moving and retains side control.
Moore connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Son some visible discomfort.

Son wants to control but Moore postures up.

Son takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better.
Son regains half guard.
Moore wants to take a breather but Son is having none of it.

Moore lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.

Son is not content to let Moore control the position.
Moore lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.
Son wants to control but Moore is keeping busy and won't allow it.
Moore wants to lay and pray for a moment but Son keeps working.
Moore frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Moore wants to take Son's back here but Son is holding on to an arm, himself looking to escape.

Moore postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Son looks a forlorn figure.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Moore tries to control but Son wriggling away.
Moore is in the full mount, landing strikes.
Moore working the ground and pound effectively.
Son is trying desperately to improve position.
Son tries to hold on but Moore pushes him away.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Black Moore dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.



Moore darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Son slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.
Son has momentary wrist control but Moore slips an elbow through the middle.
Moore trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Moore trying to stand up but can't free himself from Son's guard.
Black Moore overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Son looking for a triangle here. Moore is fighting it but it looks tight! Son pulls the arm across and this one won't last much longer! Nope, Moore is tapping out - this one is all over!
