Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Makoto Takana (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dot Cotton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Cotton has chosen Thunderstruck as his entrance music. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Dot Cotton was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cotton scores with a leg kick.
Takana shoots for a takedown but Cotton saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Takana ducks under a wild hook from Cotton.
Takana tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Cotton swivels and escapes.
Takana changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Cotton tries to avoid it but Takana manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Cotton to the ground. Cotton escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Makoto Takana. That's going to take a lot out of him.
A combination from Cotton does no damage.

Cotton landing knees to the body. They look like they could hurt.

A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Takana.
Takana is breathing heavily.
Cotton goes for a high kick. It partially lands.
Takana shoots in for a double leg but Cotton sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Makoto Takana seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Takana takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Cotton lands with a big right hook that stumbles Takana - he's out on his feet here! Cotton follows up with another monster hook that separates Takana from consciousness! Takana falls, almost in slow motion to the canvas! Cotton stands and admires his work as the crowd go wild.
