The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice defenses there by Dogan.
Batshuayi pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Dogan lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
Batshuayi misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Dogan.
Dogan shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Batshuayi as he jumps to the side.
A slow jab from Batshuayi misses its intended target.
Batshuayi jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Batshuayi takes one on the button.
Dogan shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Batshuayi sprawls well. Batshuayi wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Dogan gets slowly back to his feet.
Batshuayi swung with a counter punch to the body but it didn't connect.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Batshuayi goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Dogan tries to counter with a clinch but Batshuayi shakes him off and moves away.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Dogan, as that shot connected.

and Dogan counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Batshuayi on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Batshuayi misses with a jab to the body
and Dogan counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.

Dogan drops Batshuayi with a left and a right! Oh, Batshuayi is hurt - Dogan dives into side control looking to finish!
It looks like Romelu Batshuayi has been cut.
Dogan working the ground and pound but Batshuayi is defending the strikes.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Batshuayi takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
Dogan wants to control but Batshuayi is keeping him busy.

Batshuayi regains half guard, as Dogan was trying to land strikes.
Batshuayi on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Batshuayi tries to get out of the position.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Batshuayi could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

Dogan is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.

Dogan lands a big elbow from half guard. That looks like it's hurt Batshuayi quite badly. Batshuayi pulls Dogan in close trying to recover. Dogan postures up and lands two really hard shots that put Batshuayi on queer street! The ref takes a look and decides to call an end to the fight! Possibly an early stoppage but Batshuayi doesn't seem to be complaining too much.
