Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Steve Erwin, John Mangel and Bruno Hogan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
Augustine is concentrating on defense, preventing Silva from advancing position.
Silva works his foot free and advances to mount.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Augustine is squirming around, avoiding Silva's attempts to control the action.
Augustine knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Silva on the ground.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

I really don't envy Augustine right now.

Silva is throwing strikes from the back here. Oh that last one was to the back of the head. Silva gets a warning from the referee. He throws another strike to the back of the head straight away though and the referee has seen enough. He breaks up the two fighters and stands them back up. Silva gets a real talking to here and is lucky not to get a point deducted. Silva apologises and we restart here on the feet.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Augustine stuffs the takedown.
Augustine gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.
Silva is pressed up against the cage. Augustine has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Silva down to the mat. Silva avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Silva closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Silva wants to lay and pray for a moment but Augustine keeps working.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Silva wants to take a breather but Augustine is having none of it.
Silva has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

Silva postures up and decides to stand up, from the half guard. The ref calls for Augustine to stand up.
That kick from Silva tenderised Augustine's leg. Augustine is trying to keep his angry face on.
Augustine gets caught napping as Silva dives in and scores a takedown. Augustine manages to retain guard.
Silva drops back looking for a leg! Augustine is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Augustine manages to kick Silva off! Silva jumps back into Augustine's guard.
Augustine has control of Silva's left arm, preventing Silva from doing any damage.

Silva looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.

Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Silva in particular looking to stall.
Augustine is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.
Augustine tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Rodolfo Augustine is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Silva moves into the clinch.
Silva has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Augustine uses from the top position.
Silva is adopting a defensive guard.

Silva bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Augustine's guard.

Silva gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.

Carlos Silva showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! This is the final round!
Silva throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Augustine lands a two punch combo.
Silva fails with an attempt to clinch.
Silva tries to close the distance and clinch but Augustine swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Augustine wants to clinch up but Silva keeps it at a distance.
Augustine takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.

Silva tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Augustine swivels and escapes.
Rodolfo Augustine has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Carlos Silva.
Augustine closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Silva's guard.
Silva controls Augustine momentarily but Augustine frees himself.
Silva has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Augustine should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Silva has tightened it up now! Augustine should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
