Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Enzo Roch (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Iroquois Pliskin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Pliskin has chosen Metal Gear Solid Main Theme as his entrance music. Iroquois Pliskin has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Enzo Roch!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Iroquois Pliskin!
The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, William Peck and Steve Smith.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Roch shoots in and drives through. Pliskin sprawls well.
Roch fails with a takedown attempt.
Nice sprawl there from Pliskin as Roch shoots in.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Enzo Roch. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Pliskin gets caught flat footed, as Roch shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.

Pliskin had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Roch is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Pliskin Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Roch's back instead.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Pliskin cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Roch knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Pliskin on the ground.
The referee warns Roch that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.

Roch is breathing heavily.
Pliskin takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Roch is squirming around, avoiding Pliskin's attempts to control the action.

Pliskin working to secure an arm triangle but it's not happening for him just yet.
Pliskin has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Roch's face.

Roch feints and as Pliskin raises his hands in defense, Roch changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Pliskin is on top in guard.

Roch wants to control the position but Pliskin says "no thanks buddy" and passes to half guard.
Pliskin is looking to take a break and control but Roch is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Roch on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Roch tries to get out of the position.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Roch misses with a takedown attempt - Pliskin sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

Roch throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Pliskin's waist but Pliskin gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Roch off to one side.

Iroquois Pliskin showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Well Pliskin has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
