Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Steve Palacios (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Aaron Morgan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Morgan is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Kid Rock - American Badass. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Morgan is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Palacios fails with the takedown.
Morgan tries to clinch there but Palacios circles away.
Palacios misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
A combination from Morgan does no damage.

Morgan closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Palacios tries to get to full guard but Morgan has control of the leg.
Palacios is staying active underneath Morgan, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Morgan is keen to just control but Palacios is a slippery customer.
Palacios tries to roll over but Morgan keeps him under control.
Morgan really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Palacios. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Palacios is staying active underneath Morgan, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

Morgan slips a nice elbow through Palacios's hands, connecting with Palacios's forehead.

Morgan stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Palacios swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Palacios is looking for a triangle but Morgan pushes his legs off easily.
Morgan slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
Morgan must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Palacios isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Morgan stacks Palacios on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Morgan!

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Palacios manages to get one leg in to regain half guard.
Palacios slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.

Palacios pushes a forearm under Morgan's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Morgan is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!
