Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Prince Kinney (ranked 25375 p4p, 0 weight class) and Artem Tarasov (ranked 5835 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Albert Achterberg, Wagner Zegers and Radbod Blank.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kinney tries to clinch there but Tarasov circles away.
Tarasov lands a two punch combo.

Tarasov is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Kinney knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Tarasov is trying to get an arm triangle but Kinney is defending well.

Kinney sneaks out the side door and pushes Tarasov away - he's back to his feet. The crowd show their appreciation for the escape.

Tarasov gets control of Kinney's arms and successfully pulls guard. Tarasov will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.

Kinney stands up and waves to Tarasov to follow him.

Tarasov shoots in and bounces Kinney off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.

Kinney has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Tarasov off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.

Tarasov darts in and clinches Kinney up against the cage.

Tarasov tightens his grip and picks Kinney up, before dumping him to the ground. Kinney manages to land in guard.

Kinney manages to escape and get back to his feet.

Kinney gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Kinney crunches a lovely knee into Tarasov's ribcage.
Kinney is trying to force a seperation but Tarasov has the dominant position.
A frustrated look appears on Kinney's face as he tries to break the clinch.

Kinney pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Kinney gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Tarasov to score an easy takedown into full guard.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Kinney has scooted to the edge of the canvas and used the cage to get back to his feet. Tarasov has stuck on his opponent and is forcing him back against the cage.
Kinney jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Tarasov walks away with a smile on his face. Kinney gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

That was a close round but I would say that Prince Kinney will probably get the nod.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.



Kinney has taken the fight to the clinch.
Tarasov is trying to maintain a safe position but Kinney gets an underhook and turns Tarasov into the cage.

Tarasov breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Tarasov drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.

Kinney looking for subs off his back but Tarasov has passed one foot through into half guard.
Kinney is looking to escape.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Tarasov content to control rather than advance.
Kinney wants to get back to his feet.

Kinney trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful.
Tarasov wants to pass the guard but Kinney is defending well.

Kinney is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Kinney looking to hit a scissor sweep but Tarasov is one step ahead there.

Kinney manages to wriggle out and sneak his way back up to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched up against the cage.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Kinney's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.

Tarasov has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Kinney uses from the top position.

Tarasov is trying to trip Kinney. He has hold of a leg but Kinney is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Tarasov persists though and gets the takedown into guard.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Kinney, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
