Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Grant Foxon (ranked 6088 p4p, 192 weight class) and Duke South (ranked 5294 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Grant Foxon !
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Duke South!
The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, Alec Ball and Trevor Gratis.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

South has Foxon up against the cage in a clinch.
South stops a takedown attempt from Foxon .
South lands with a left to the head.

It looks like Grant Foxon has been cut.
South lands a hook that snaps the head of Foxon backwards.

Foxon breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
South swings wildly with a couple of big hooks

and Foxon counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
South is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Foxon dives into side control.

Foxon throws an elbow but South slips to the side and avoids it well.
South is being controlled here.
Foxon has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.

Foxon decides to take the fight back to the feet.

Foxon shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Foxon showed some decent athleticism there.
Foxon is taking a breather. South says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
South tries to regain full guard. Instead though, Foxon has advanced to mount. Uh oh.
Foxon with the ground and pound from mount.

Foxon takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

Foxon is standing up out of mount! Strange tactic there - he must really want this one on the feet!
Foxon will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
South bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Foxon looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? South is fending him off so far but Foxon persists. Nope, South circles away and we're back to standing.

South cracks Foxon with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Foxon fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.

South looks to land a combination but Foxon avoids it well.
South scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Foxon doesn't seem bothered though.
Foxon is breathing heavily.

South pushes Foxon up against the cage in a clinch.
South gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Foxon .
South lands a shoulder strike.
Foxon 's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!
A left hand lands to the body for South.

South lands with a short shot to the head.

Foxon is rocked!

Grant Foxon 's cut is getting worse.
South throws a big uppercut that drops Foxon ! More strikes from South and the referee jumps in to stop the fight! Foxon lies dazed against the cage as South celebrates with his cornermen!
