Hotaru's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Metallica - All Nightmare Long. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hotaru shoots in and drives through. De Visscher sprawls well.

It looks like Hoshi Hotaru has been cut.
De Visscher throws out a loose jab but Hotaru uses good head movement to avoid it.
Hotaru walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.

Hotaru displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as De Visscher throws out the jab.

Hotaru feints and as De Visscher raises his hands in defense, Hotaru changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
De Visscher really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Hotaru. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Hotaru won't allow De Visscher to get back to his feet.

De Visscher wants to stand up but Hotaru is controlling him.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Hotaru accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Hotaru moves out of range as De Visscher strikes.
De Visscher throws the left hand but Hotaru avoids the punch easily.
The fighters circling - De Visscher throws out the jab but it was never going to land.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Hotaru is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but De Visscher is surviving well by controlling Hotaru's body position as best he can.

It looks like Frank De Visscher has been cut.
Hotaru is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. De Visscher can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
