The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Larva scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
Juarez is pressing down on Larva's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.
Larva throws a big elbow that misses.
Juarez keeping moving, preventing Larva from controlling successfully.
Juarez looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Juarez is on top in guard.

Larva wants to get back to his feet but Juarez passes into half guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Larva is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

Larva wants to stand back up but Juarez manages to pass into side control.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Larva can do anything to dispel that myth.
Juarez misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.
Larva is trying to control Juarez's posture but Juarez avoids it.
Juarez throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Larva is looking for a sweep.
Juarez really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Juarez creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Larva sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.
Larva is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Juarez has just dragged him back down to the mat.
Larva tries to buck Juarez off but Juarez is having none of it.
Juarez tries to score with some ground and pound. Larva controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage.
Larva is trying to improve his position.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Larva throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Juarez tries to clinch up but Larva circles away and keeps his distance.

Juarez ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Juarez no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.

Juarez has his feet on Larva's thighs here. He's pushed Larva off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! Larva screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!
