Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Bill Clay (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and James McIntyre (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

McIntyre has managed to clinch.

Clay's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Clay scores with a jab. McIntyre acknowledges it with a nod of the head.

McIntyre has closed the distance and engaged Clay in a clinch.
Clay gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from McIntyre.
Clay goes for a takedown attempt but McIntyre pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Clay throws a right hand that McIntyre ducks under and follows up with a left that McIntyre also avoids with ease.
Clay moves in looking to clinch but McIntyre pushes him off.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now McIntyre is on top in guard.

Clay is looking to improve his position but McIntyre isn't that keen on the idea.

McIntyre tries to stall but Clay uses the opportunity to gain a better position.

Clay tries to clinch but McIntyre moves away

and McIntyre decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Clay's guard.
Clay is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Clay has his foot on McIntyre's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. McIntyre works his way back into a safe position though.

Clay escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. McIntyre gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

McIntyre stands and steps away. Clay gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.

Oh but Clay is tightening it up a little... McIntyre has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! McIntyre reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! McIntyre taps out! nice BJJ there by Clay!
