Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Daniel Parza (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Amwarr Ali (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Amwarr Ali is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Daniel Parza!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Amwarr Ali!
The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, Paul Tew and James Glass.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Parza misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Parza looks to land a combination but Ali avoids it well.

Ali looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Parza!
Parza tries to reverse the position but Ali maintains control.
Ali looking to finish with strikes here!

Ali has control of Parza's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Parza regains control of the situation pretty easily.

Parza really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Parza holds on to Ali around his waist, trying desperately to prevent any attacks.
Ali misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.

Ali jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Parza is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Parza and Ali has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Parza is looking for a sweep.

Parza is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Ali's leg. He's managed it. Nice work.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

Amwarr Ali dominated that round.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!


Ali shoots in but Parza avoids the takedown attempt easily.

Parza throws a strike but Ali avoids it easily and moves to full guard.
Ali is trying to control the position but Parza postures up.
Parza wants to stand and escape but instead Ali has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.

Parza not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Ali has his takedown stuffed

and Parza counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.

Parza in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Parza has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
Parza wants to control from the top but Ali keeps moving.

Ali had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Parza is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Ali Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Parza's back instead.

Ali is working really hard to secure the rear naked choke. Parza defends successfully for a significant amount of time. Both fighters are looking very determined.

Ali is staying calm and holding on to the back position, whilst working on a rear naked choke. Parza is defending well though. Ali let's go of the attempt for now.
A lull in the action here.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Parza has his hands over his head blocking the strikes from Ali.

Ali is remaining active here, looking for the choke. The more discerning members of the crowd will appreciate his efforts.

That was a close second round but I would say that Daniel Parza will probably get the nod.
That's time! Back to the action! Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!



Parza shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Parza was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Amwarr Ali has got the better of the ground game so far.
Parza looking to control and managing it successfully.
Ali sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.

Parza moves into side control, avoiding a weak kimura attempt from Ali.

Ali is trying to get back to half guard.
Parza cracks Ali with an elbow. That is naaassty.
Ali is looking to regain half guard here but Parza keeps moving and retains side control.
Parza wants to control but Ali is keeping him busy.
Parza remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.

Ali manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu!

Ali has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Parza has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!

Ali has got his arm under Parza's chin working for the choke… has he got it? It looks pretty tight! Oh! Parza has spun round into Ali's guard beautifully! Well done that man!

Parza would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.

Parza is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Ali has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Parza is looking to defend but Ali has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Parza! Ali pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Parza taps out and this one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:49 of round 3, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Amwarr Ali!
