The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Oliveira scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!

Oliveira closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Oliveira wants to pass the guard but Ribeiro is defending well.
Ribeiro is staying active underneath Oliveira, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

Oliveira is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Ribeiro defends it well.
Oliveira tries to stand and escape but Ribeiro is controlling the position.

Ribeiro has hold of a guillotine but he's not going to be able to crank on it really with only half guard, so it's no trouble for Oliveira. Oh but Ribeiro has got full guard now! Oh boy! This one could be over very soon! Oliveira goes limp - he's gone! Ribeiro jumps up and celebrates with the crowd - fantastic submission finish!
