Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jimmy Cathaway (ranked 1743 p4p, 229 weight class) and Huffy Sanna (ranked 1542 p4p, 201 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sanna looks to land a combination. Cathaway sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.

It looks like Jimmy Cathaway has been cut.
Sanna misses with an uppercut
and Cathaway counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.

It looks like Huffy Sanna has been cut.
Cathaway takes a swing at Sanna's ribcage but misses.
Cathaway lands a jab to the nose.
Sanna misses with a lunging right hand
and Cathaway cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Cathaway lands with a nice combination. Sanna backs away looking to recover.
Cathaway is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Sanna.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Sanna throws a jab but it's blocked by Cathaway.
Cathaway jinks towards his opponent looking like he wants to counter with a mid kick but doesn't commit.
Sanna looks to land a right hand but Cathaway moved out of range.
Cathaway keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Sanna.
A telegraphed right hand from Sanna misses the target.
Cathaway scores with a leg kick.
Sanna misses with a hook.
Cathaway throws a front kick aimed at Sanna's knee but Sanna avoids it well.
Cathaway tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Sanna was well out of range. Poor timing from Cathaway.
Cathaway looks to score with a jab to the body but Sanna is just out of range.
Cathaway tries to bum rush Sanna with a series of wild strikes but Sanna uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Cathaway staying out of range there.
Cathaway walks into a jab.
Cathaway gets cracked there but stands up to it.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Sanna throws a jab but it's blocked by Cathaway.
Cathaway lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

That has opened up Huffy Sanna's cut even more.
Cathaway scores with a shot to the body.
Cathaway drops Sanna with a naaaaasty hook - Sanna is in real trouble here! Cathaway dives in to side control and pounds out his opponent for a TKO victory! The crowd goes nuts!
