Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Sigmund Erickson (ranked 4454 p4p, 477 weight class) and Jaylon Figures (ranked 7500 p4p, 636 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Figures's choice of entrance music: Standing in the rain. Sigmund Erickson has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Figures shoots in but no luck this time.

Figures clinches up with Erickson and pushes him back against the cage.

Erickson is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Figures defends it well.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Erickson connects with a nice short shot to Figures's temple.
