Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Reiner Brawn (ranked 8237 p4p, 679 weight class) and Jack Hughes (ranked 9397 p4p, 707 weight class). Both fighters really staring each other down here, as Jack Hughes enters the cage!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Reiner Brawn!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Jack Hughes!
The judges for this bout are Steve Erwin, Ron Honeybunn and Skip Squint.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hughes misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Hughes avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Brawn clinches up against the cage.
Hughes jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Brawn walks away with a smile on his face. Hughes gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Brawn clinches up with Hughes and pushes him back against the cage.

Brawn ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Brawn no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
Hughes stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Brawn swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Brawn seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Hughes for as long as he can get away with.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Brawn has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.

Brawn tries to close the distance and clinch up but Hughes swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Hughes tries to keep at a distance but Brawn has taken the fight into the clinch.
