The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Geadais tries to close the distance and clinch up but Crosby swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Crosby tries to counter with a takedown but Geadais is quick to defend against it.

Crosby drives through with a takedown into Geadais's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.
Geadais is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Crosby dives into side control.

Geadais pushes Crosby away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Crosby gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.

Crosby stands up and beckons Geadais to his feet.
Crosby fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Geadais avoids it really well and circles away.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
