Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Lucas Vasquez (ranked 2332 p4p, 292 weight class) and Alexei Sokolov (ranked 1498 p4p, 196 weight class). Sokolov has chosen Bapki -Zoo in Space as his entrance music. Both these fighters are unbeaten, so somebody's 0 has got to go!Alexei Sokolov told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vasquez tries to score a power double leg takedown but Sokolov sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Vasquez somewhat.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Sokolov! But no joy.
Sokolov sends Vasquez crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Sokolov is motioning to the referee to let Vasquez up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!
Vasquez is rocked!
It looks like Lucas Vasquez has been cut.
Sokolov measures up his opponent and throws a superman punch that connects to the jaw! Down goes Vasquez! The ref steps in, and that's the ball game folks!
