Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Stan Carter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tiger Woodz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tiger Woodz will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The judges for this bout are Lou da Vinci, Anthony Taglia and Joseph Jones.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Woodz fails with an attempt to clinch.
Woodz lands with a kick to the temple. Carter shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
Woodz connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
No joy there for Carter, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Woodz has a takedown stuffed.
Carter throws a one two combo.

Woodz gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Carter tries to free his leg and advance position but Woodz is retaining full guard.
Woodz throws some sloppy strikes off his back.

Woodz has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Carter can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Carter moves into side control, avoiding a weak kimura attempt from Woodz.
Carter wants to lay and pray for a moment but Woodz keeps working.

A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.
Carter has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Woodz is looking to reverse the position.

Carter is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Woodz is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Carter wants to lay and pray for a moment but Woodz keeps working.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Carter will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Woodz is trying desperately to land a takedown but Carter is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Woodz.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Carter gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Woodz scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!

Woodz can't keep his opponent in guard - Carter advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.

Stan Carter overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Woodz tries to lock up and control but Carter gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

Carter is working for a guillotine from mount but Woodz frees his head quite easily.

That's time! Carter's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. And we move into the final round!

Carter fails with a takedown attempt.
Woodz keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Carter tries for a takedown but Woodz sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Stan Carter. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Carter changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Woodz tries to avoid it but Carter manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Woodz to the ground. Woodz escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

and Carter counters with a single leg into guard. Woodz didn't expect that.

Carter has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Woodz to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Carter is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Woodz pulls down on the head and he's put Carter to sleep! This one is all over!
