Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Malik Allen (ranked 6054 p4p, 583 weight class) and Jake Williams (ranked 6225 p4p, 596 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Malik Allen!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jake Williams!
The judges for this bout are Dean Styles, Anthony Taglia and John Roberts.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Allen closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Williams doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Williams has eaten all the pies!

Allen escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Allen shoots in but Williams avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Williams tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.

Allen instigates a clinch.

Allen breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Allen scores to the head and body with a nice combination!


It looks like Jake Williams has been cut.
Williams shoots in and drives through. Allen sprawls well.
Allen is looking for a counter combo.
Williams dives in and grabs Allen's left leg, looking for a takedown. Allen pushes down on Williams's head and hops out.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Williams throws a combination that misses
and Allen counters with a one-two to the body.
Williams fails miserably with a takedown attempt.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Allen pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Allen tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Williams defends well and Allen ends up having to push Williams into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.

Allen fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.

A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Williams.

Williams slaps away a takedown attempt from Allen, before circling back to the center of the mat.
A countering left hand to the body from Williams misses.
Allen dives in for a single leg takedown but Williams sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Williams fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Allen shoots in and drives through. Williams sprawls well.

Allen closes the distance and clinches.
Allen drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Allen is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Williams pulls him back up using the underhooks.

Williams tries to pull guard but Allen holds him up against the cage and eventually Williams drops back down to his feet.

That has opened up Jake Williams's cut even more.
Williams tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Allen just stands there and leans against the cage.
Allen is trying to pull guard but Williams turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.

Williams pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Williams tries to land a front kick but Allen steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Allen avoids the head kick by Williams.
Williams stuffs the takedown attempt from Allen. Allen gets slowly back to his feet.

Allen fails to land the takedown.
Williams tries to score a power double leg takedown but Allen sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Williams somewhat.
Williams throws a leg kick that misses.
Allen really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Allen tries to clinch up.
Williams throws a head kick but Allen moves out of range.
Allen throws a big counter combination but Williams scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage.
Williams shoots for a double leg takedown but Allen sprawls well. He's pushed Williams's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Allen fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Williams, pushing him back against the cage.
Williams is pressed up against the cage. Allen has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Williams down to the mat. Williams avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Williams stands and steps away. Allen gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Williams tries to clinch there but Allen circles away.
Williams shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Allen but Allen pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Allen throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Williams on the side of the head.

Allen will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Williams takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.

Williams has decided to stand back up but his arm is trapped. Whilst he's worrying about his arm, Allen works to full guard.

Williams gets to his feet. Allen looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!

Allen closes the distance and pushes Williams back into the cage.
Allen tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.
Williams is trying to drag Allen to the mat but Allen just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

Allen manages to break the clinch.
Williams will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Williams stuffs the takedown.
And Williams tries to counter it with a takedown but Allen pushes his down on his head and steps out.

Williams takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Williams dives in and grabs Allen's left leg, looking for a takedown. Allen pushes down on Williams's head and hops out.

Allen gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.

Williams decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
Allen fails with a takedown attempt.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Williams throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Allen's waist but Allen gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Williams off to one side.
A looping hook to the body misses from Allen. Williams does a little dance to reset his feet.

And that's the end of the fight!
Malik Allen showed his dominance in that final round.
Well Allen has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
