Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Stephen Christian (ranked 24979 p4p, 0 weight class) and Doug Glatt (ranked 5875 p4p, 0 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Glatt throws a head kick but Christian moves out of range.

Glatt closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Glatt is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.

Glatt drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.

Christian bucks up and manages to escape back to his feet!

Glatt swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Glatt drives through with a takedown into Christian's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.
Glatt stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Christian swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Christian manages to stand up with Glatt still on his back. Eventually Glatt drops to his feet and we're back in the standing position.

Glatt fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Christian sprawls well initially but Glatt persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

Glatt lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Christian circles away quickly and effectively.

Glatt feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

As Glatt tries to get set, Christian tries to push him back and clinch up but Glatt manages to avoid the attempt.

Christian manages to create a bit of space in order to work his way back to his feet. Glatt keeps hold of his opponent and drives him back against the cage.

Glatt gets control of Christian's arms and successfully pulls guard. Glatt will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.

Well Glatt has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
