Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Art Vandelay (ranked 111 p4p, 20 weight class) and Vasilliy Kazakov (ranked 971 p4p, 119 weight class). Vandelay's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Answering Machine. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the lightweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
18 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Art Vandelay!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

20 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Vasilliy Kazakov!
The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Cecil Peabody and George Francis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kazakov closes this distance looking for a takedown but Vandelay circles away.
Vandelay throws a looping overhand right but Kazakov ducks down to avoid it.
Vandelay scores to the head and body with a nice combination!
Kazakov shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Vandelay as he jumps to the side.
Vandelay has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Vandelay misses with an uppercut.
Vandelay works Kazakov's body with a nice hook.
Vandelay slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Kazakov will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Art Vandelay has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Vasilliy Kazakov.
A punch lands to the side of Kazakov 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Art Vandelay seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Vandelay throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Kazakov stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Vandelay lands with a hook. Kazakov tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Kazakov is rocked!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Vandelay finds Kazakov's off switch, with a big overhand right that connects perfectly to the side of the head! Kazakov flops back against the cage, eyes gazing into the distance. Vandelay lands an unnecessary shot before the referee has time to step in and end the fight. Brutal stuff but I'm sure Kazakov will be OK.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Art Vandelay!
