Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Paulo Dos Oliviera (ranked 3988 p4p, 400 weight class) and Nicholas Tessier (ranked 4632 p4p, 455 weight class). Dos Oliviera comes into the arena with Black Hole Sun blaring out of the sound system. Paulo Dos Oliviera is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dos Oliviera fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Tessier avoids it really well and circles away.
Dos Oliviera tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Tessier defends well and Dos Oliviera ends up having to push Tessier into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Tessier! But no joy.
Tessier scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Dos Oliviera doesn't seem bothered though.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Tessier is on top in guard.

Dos Oliviera seems to have improved his submission grappling technique since last time we saw him. Let's see if he can pull off a submission.

Tessier has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Dos Oliviera is landing a low percentage of strikes.
Dos Oliviera drops his hands momentarily and Tessier takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.

Tessier steps into range and cracks Dos Oliviera with a monster punch that buckles his knees! Dos Oliviera flops backwards and Tessier dives into his guard looking to finish!

Dos Oliviera is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Tessier is controlling him.
Dos Oliviera seems to have got his legs back now.

Dos Oliviera has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Tessier can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Tessier really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Dos Oliviera. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Tessier feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Dos Olivieras jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!

Horrible takedown attempt by Dos Oliviera or perhaps it was just good defense by Tessier, which made it look bad.
Tessier moves into range and connects with a jab.

Dos Oliviera throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Tessier tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Dos Oliviera is in Tessier's guard.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Dos Oliviera changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Tessier tries to avoid it but Dos Oliviera manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Tessier to the ground. Tessier escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Tessier circles and sees the opportunity to plant his feet and throw a really nice straight left hand that drops Dos Oliviera to the canvas! Dos Oliviera doesn't know where he is but he's trying to survive - Tessier keeps piling on the pressure and forces the referee to step in! This one is aaaaaall over!
