Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Hipolito Rhodes!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Bobby Baratheon!
The judges for this bout are , Frank Antenori and Don Winkell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rhodes darts in looking for a takedown but Baratheon gets double underhooks and turns Rhodes into the cage.
Baratheon tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Baratheon pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Rhodes back to the cage. Baratheon follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
It looks like Hipolito Rhodes has been cut.
Rhodes needs to keep his hands up - Baratheon had a free shot at his head there.
Rhodes really is a fat lump.
Baratheon lands a really nice looking cross but Rhodes seems unphased.
Rhodes is rocked!
Rhodes drops his hands momentarily. Baratheon doesn't need a second invitation, landing a shot to the temple. Rhodes staggers and falls to the mat and the ref dives in to save him from any more punishment. Rhodes doesn't seem happy with the stoppage but he was done.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:37 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Bobby Baratheon!
