Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Maxwell Booker (ranked 352 p4p, 45 weight class) and Lazy Bastard (ranked 623 p4p, 78 weight class). Maxwell Booker has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 15 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Maxwell Booker!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 15 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Lazy Bastard!
The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Stewart Dunkirk and Alan Glass.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bastard scores with a shot to the body.
Bastard with a nice cross.
Booker takes one to the side of the head.
Bastard lands a glancing blow to the side of Booker's head.
Bastard lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Booker ducks right into an uppercut from Bastard.
Booker doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Bastard misses with a wild combination.
Booker drops down looking for a counter takedown but Bastard sprawls and moves away.

and Booker counters with a nice double leg into side control. Bastard won't be happy with that.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Bastard is looking to reverse the position.
Bastard told us pre-fight that he has been working on his escapes in training. Let's see if he can call on some of his new skills to get back to his feet.

Booker tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
Bastard struggling a bit here.
Bastard is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Booker has just dragged him back down to the mat.

You can see the frustration on Bastard's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Bastard is looking for a sweep.
Bastard wants to get back to his feet but Booker drags him back down.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Booker wants to control but Bastard is keeping him busy.

Booker is working to tighten his grip on Bastard's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Bastard has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Booker is really squeezing tight and eventually Bastard passes out! Booker breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!

During a confident post fight interview, Maxwell Booker thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
