The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

and Kane makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Dee is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Dee lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.

Dee postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Kane is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Dee, into his guard.

Kane got a little sloppy there for a moment and Dee has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Kane has managed to get both his arms back between Dee's legs - danger averted.

In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Kane working his ground and pound in the gym. So far it seems to be working well.

Well Kane has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
