With a record of 29 - 27 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Greg Garrison!
The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Ian Loll and William Peck.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Garrison ducks straight into an uppercut from Ritter and tumbles to the canvas! It’s a flash knockdown though - Garrison manages to regain guard straight away.


It looks like Greg Garrison has been cut.

Ritter wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.

Ritter's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Garrison is fighting to break Ritter's control of his arms but Ritter is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.
Garrison avoids the body shot from Ritter.
Ritter throws a lazy uppercut
and Garrison counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Ritter lands a head shot.

Ritter throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Garrison was covering up waiting for the punch and Ritter finishes the takedown easily into guard.


Garrison is rocked!
Ritter cracks Garrison with a solid left hand.
Garrison is still in real trouble! Can Ritter finish him?
Ritter slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
Ritter loads up on a big left hand. Garrison felt that one! He's just covering up now, not defending himself intelligently - Ritter looks towards the ref and unloads with 3 more big shots and the ref has no choice but to stop the fight! Garrison can't hide his disappointment, as Ritter celebrates the victory.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Sylvester Ritter!
