The judges for this bout are Nard Betker, Patrick Alders and Albert Achterberg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hope jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Hope throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Green throws a head kick but Hope moves out of range.
Hope misses with a straight right.
Hope has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Green tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Hope misses with a series of wild punches.
Green shapes to counter with a head kick.
Hope pivots, looking for a leg kick but Green is out of range and Hope settles back down.
Green throws a fast counter high kick but Hope manages to duck under it in time.
Green moves out of range as Hope strikes.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Hope throws a right hand that Green ducks under and follows up with a left that Green also avoids with ease.
Green is clearly looking to counter with head kicks.
Green misses with a body kick.
Hope misses with a two punch combination.
Green throws a fast counter high kick but Hope manages to duck under it in time.
Hope misses with a low kick as Green jumps back.
And Green responds with a good body kick, but Hope manages to step out the way in time.

Green throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Hope's head.
Hope misses the jab.
Green shoots in for a takedown but Hope shows good takedown defense.
Green takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Green fails with the takedown.
Green ducks under a wild hook from Hope.
Green looks for a takedown but Hope sprawls well.
Billy Hope has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Tom Green.
Green takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.

Hope throws a big counter combination but Green scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage.

and Green counters with a flying knee. Nice.
Hope throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Green uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Hope.
Billy Hope is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Hope cracks Green with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Green looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Hope finish him?

Green walks into a picture perfect straight right hand from Hope! He's gone down face first to the canvas, unconscious before he even hit the floor! Ohhhh. My. Goodness! That boys and girls was a beautiful knockout! Give that man a biscuit!
