Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Marcel Trujillo (ranked 24964 p4p, 0 weight class) and Derian Prout (ranked 6165 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Prout throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Trujillo was covering up waiting for the punch and Prout finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Prout trying to control but Trujillo is working from the bottom.
Trujillo is trying to keep Prout in close.
Prout wants to pass the guard but Trujillo is keeping the position.
Prout trying to control the position from guard on top but Trujillo is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Prout controlling from the top position.
Trujillo doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Trujillo has a butterfly guard looking to sweep but Prout has passed into side control.
Prout is looking to take a break and control but Trujillo is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Prout scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Trujillo to see if he's OK.

Trujillo is looking to regain half guard here but Prout keeps moving and retains side control.
Trujillo can't do much from the bottom here.
Trujillo manages to get back to half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Trujillo is not content to let Prout control the position.
Trujillo is looking for a sweep. Prout is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Prout works his way into side control.

Prout tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Prout has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Prout wants to control but Trujillo is keeping him busy.
Trujillo tries to improve position but can't.

Prout is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Trujillo is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Prout is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Trujillo has escaped the position, nice work there.
You can see the frustration on Trujillo's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Trujillo takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
Trujillo is looking to slip a leg under and get half guard but Prout is one step ahead and moves to full mount!

Prout looking to isolate an arm here. Trujillo doesn't see it coming and as Prout extends the arm, he's forced to tap out! Nice submission by Prout!

Derian Prout spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
