The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Cross shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Bass napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Cross misses with an attempted head punch from side control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Bass knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Cross on the ground.
Cross lands an elbow.
Oh Bass is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Bass is looking to regain half guard here but Cross keeps moving and retains side control.
Cross lands a strong strike to the head of Bass. That's dazed him! Cross looking to finish here. Bass is waving his arms around trying to block but he's hurt badly - Cross lands more strikes and the referee steps in to end the fight!
