The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jelani misses with a two punch combination.

Bell looking to score a takedown here. Jelani is defending well but Bell drives through and ends up in Jelani's guard.
Bell passes into half guard.
Jelani gets full guard.
Bell trying to stand up but can't free himself from Jelani's guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Bell trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Bell really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Jelani. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Bell has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Jelani to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Bell is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Jelani pulls down on the head and he's put Bell to sleep! This one is all over!
